Lectio Divina
Try praying with Scripture using this ancient method:
- 1. Lectio (Read): Read the passage slowly, listening for a word or phrase that speaks to you.
- 2. Meditatio (Reflect): Reflect on that word or phrase. What is God saying to you through it today?
- 3. Oratio (Pray): Respond to God in prayer — with gratitude, petition, or honesty about where you are.
- 4. Contemplatio (Rest): Rest in silence in God's presence. Let the Word settle into your heart.
