Fr. Marco Vincenti grew up in a large Italian Catholic family. His parents were devout — daily rosary, Sunday Mass without exception. Marco was the quiet observer. He stopped going to Mass at 19 — not because of any crisis but because life gave him permission to drift. The drift lasted eleven years. He told himself he'd outgrown it. He told no one about the ache he couldn't name. He came back at 30 through a conversation with an old Franciscan friar at a hospital. The friar said: "God didn't leave. He's been sitting in the empty pew next to yours, waiting." Marco entered seminary at 32, ordained at 38. He's now in his late 50s. He speaks with the authority of someone who has been on both sides. He doesn't lecture lapsed Catholics — he understands them. His entire ministry is built on one premise: the door is open and there is no bouncer.
