The traditional invocation of the Holy Spirit for light, strength, and renewal.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love. V. Send forth Thy Spirit, and they shall be created. R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. Let us pray: O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit didst instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolations, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Veni, Sancte Spíritus, reple tuórum corda fidélium, et tui amóris in eis ignem accénde. V. Emítte Spíritum tuum, et creabúntur. R. Et renovábis fáciem terræ. Orémus: Deus, qui corda fidélium Sancti Spíritus illustratióne docuísti, da nobis in eódem Spíritu recta sápere, et de eius semper consolatióne gaudére. Per Christum Dóminum nostrum. Amen.

This invocation is drawn from the ancient antiphon for Pentecost and echoes Psalm 104. It has been prayed for centuries to invoke the Holy Spirit before study, meetings, decisions, and important undertakings.
When to Pray
Pray it before study, work, or any important decision, at the start of meetings or classes, and especially during the days between Ascension and Pentecost.
